Volunteering
Giving back to the community.
Community involvement is something that I hold dear to my heart. During my high school years, I volunteered in many political causes and found my interest in government. As an avid biker, I advocated for programs that would improve safety and accessibility for bikers. Being a tutor at Reading Partners opened my eyes to the education gap between students of different backgrounds. This inspired me to start my own non-profit. To this day, my volunteer experiences continue to influence who I am. My volunteering experiences have enabled me to gain compassion for the communities served. To this day, they continue to influence who I am
